Shipping Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Courier Point provides courier, cargo, and freight booking support through a network of domestic and international shipping partners. We arrange pickup, booking, documentation support, and handover to the selected partner. Final transportation, transit scans, customs handling, delivery attempts, and destination delivery are performed by the relevant partner network and authorities.
Service Coverage
- All-Kerala pickup service from eligible locations, subject to pickup schedule and branch confirmation.
- Domestic courier and cargo services across India through partner networks.
- International courier, air cargo, sea cargo, and freight support to eligible countries and destinations.
Estimated Delivery Time
Domestic shipments usually take 1 to 7 working days depending on origin, destination, service type, route, and partner network. International shipments usually take 3 to 15 working days for express courier services and longer for cargo, sea freight, customs clearance, remote areas, or special handling. These timelines are estimates unless a partner-backed written guarantee is confirmed.
Pickup and Handover
Pickup timing depends on customer availability, branch schedule, route plan, weather, holidays, and operational capacity. A shipment is considered accepted for forwarding only after it is checked, documented, paid for, and handed over or booked with the selected shipping partner.
Packaging
The sender is responsible for safe and suitable packaging. Items must be packed for handling, stacking, scanning, road movement, air movement, sea movement, and inspection. Fragile, liquid, electronic, food, medicine, or high-value items may require special packing, prior approval, or additional documentation.
Weight, Dimensions, and Charges
Shipping charges may be based on actual weight, volumetric weight, route, service type, fuel surcharge, remote-area surcharge, taxes, duties, customs fees, partner charges, and additional handling. If the final partner-audited weight or dimensions differ from the booking details, extra charges may apply.
Customs, Duties, and Documentation
For international shipments, the sender and receiver are responsible for accurate invoices, KYC, declarations, permits, destination-country compliance, duties, taxes, customs queries, and related charges. Customs or authorities may inspect, delay, reject, return, confiscate, or dispose of shipments under applicable law.
Tracking and Delivery Attempts
Tracking updates depend on partner scans and network systems. Delivery may require receiver availability, valid address, phone response, ID proof, duties or taxes payment, or local partner coordination. Failed delivery, incorrect address, receiver refusal, or unpaid charges may lead to reattempt, return, storage, disposal, or extra charges.
Prohibited and Restricted Items
We do not accept illegal, prohibited, unsafe, undeclared, misdeclared, or partner-restricted items. Restrictions vary by carrier, country, route, transport mode, and law. Customers must disclose shipment contents before booking so we can check eligibility.
Damage, Loss, and Claims
Any damage, loss, short-delivery, or non-delivery claim must be reported immediately with photos, invoice, packaging evidence, and shipment details. Once a shipment is handed over to the selected shipping partner, transit custody, handling, scans, and delivery are managed by that partner network. Courier Point will assist with claim coordination, but claim acceptance, compensation, declared-value cover, insurance, exclusions, and timelines remain subject to the partner's investigation, terms, and applicable law.
